Job Overview:

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook food to the highest standard, following recipes and guidelines provided by the Head Chef
- Ensure that all food is presented and served in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all health and safety regulations
- Assist with menu planning and development, incorporating new and seasonal ingredients
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Monitor food quality and freshness, and report any issues to the Head Chef
- Adhere to portion control and food waste guidelines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, and share knowledge with the team

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Line Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Culinary qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Creative and passionate about food
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Eligibility to work in the UK
